BILETA develops guidance for higher education institutions
After a successful plenary at the 2018 BILETA conference hosted by
Aberdeen University, it was suggested that BILETA would develop its own
policy on lecture recordings. A key factor was the need to engage
specifically with issues arising out of the strike of early 2018.

It drew from a collection of “Post-it” contributions left at the end of
a second plenary on this issue and a working group from across
institutions and perspectives. The policy was then approved by the
